Her Story

Ashley graduated from Mountain View High School in 2012 with the intention of studying Interior Design at BYU-Idaho. Before she got to that point, she was informed that was not the right choice for her. So she stayed in Utah Valley, attended UVU, and stayed close with her friends from high school (this will be important later in the story). During Spring semester, Ashley made the preparations necessary to move away and begin studying Interior Design at Utah State University during the Fall semester of 2013.

His Story

Josh returned home from his mission in Santa Maria, Brazil in September 2012. almost immedietly after he got home, He began working at Thrive Life as a customer service representative. He now works there as a Project and Assistant Brand Manager. He is now enrolled at utah valley university studying international business with the intent to eventually be accepted into dental school to graduate as an orthodontist.

Our Story

One of Ashley's close friends from high school, Kara, met her sweetheart, Will, in August 2012. They decided to get married and Ashley was asked to be a bridesmaid. Will asked his friends to be groomsmen. among these groomsmen was Josh. Ashley and Joshua met casually at the Luncheon after Kara and Will's wedding. Neither of them were looking for a relationship, nor wanting one, but being friends would be acceptable. Josh made the first move and asked Ashley (and another bridesmaid, Callie) to hang out. So they did, and they liked it. After attending Corey and Missy's wedding reception alone, Josh and Ashley decided being just friends was no longer accaptable. Joshua knew Ashley would be going to Logan at the end of that month, but it didn't stop him from making her his last girlfriend. They talked over Skype almost every night for four months, made the 2 hour drive from Logan to Orem, or Orem to Logan  every week, and fell even further in love. Joshua Kenneth proposed on November 1, 2013 and Ashley said yes. Josh will continue to attend Utah Valley University and making the necessary preparations to go to dental school and become an orthodontist. Ashley is transfering to UVU to be with Joshaua and study Drafting Technology (with the hope to one day become an Architect after she gets Josh through dental school). Most importantly, they believe in "happily ever afters" and will do whatever it takes to make their relationship one in the same.
